A few days ago on October 29th, we blogged about steps our customers can take to help detect or mitigate the threat posed by the CISA alert AA20-302A (Ryuk). Today I would like to dive into a few more specifics on how to perform a few of the crucial actions associated with understanding your Healthcare Enterprises security posture in regard to this new threat and future threats.
In this blog, I would like to demonstrate (via screenshots) how the Medigate Device Security Platform (MDSP) can be leveraged to discover, alert on, and mitigate attacks from ransomware like Ryuk and others that might affect your Healthcare enterprise.
We have an upcoming Solution Session on Thursday, November 5 at 9 PST where John-Michael and I will outline these steps live and be available for questions. Until then follow the below examples of how to know if your Healthcare Enterprise is CyberSafe from Ryuk or other ransomware.
As you can see if you’re already a customer of the MDSP you have immediate and tangible insight into your security risks and vulnerability to this or any other exploit. If you’re not currently a Medigate customer or currently enjoying an evaluation, contact us immediately to receive a unit that will help you gain actionable insight and intelligently build network-based protections to mitigate this and future threats to your Healthcare Delivery Organization today.
