Business Development Representative

We are hiring an exceptional Business Development Representative to join our team. As a BDR at Medigate, you are the first point of contact. You will be responsible for both selling the value of Medigate as well as ensuring leads are qualified before handing them off to our Regional Sales Directors. Please note this position is remote - candidates may work from anywhere in the US. 


  • Generate and qualify outbound leads, often acting as the first point of contact for a prospect
  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic outreach
  • Initiate contact with prospects through outbound calling, email, Linkedin
  • Organize and prioritize outreach, intro calls, and follow up with qualified prospects
  • Accurately capture, report, track, and manage required qualification data and lead statuses within Salesforce
  • Meet required quota for number of qualified opportunities, meetings set, and pipeline  
  • Work cross-functionally with Regional Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales Engineers, and fellow BDR’s
  • Become an expert on all aspects of Medigate’s product offering
  • Attend and travel to tech conferences and events as needed

Desired Experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years selling cybersecurity solutions or B2B IT sales
  • Experience with a modern tech stack: Gsuite, Salesforce, Gong, ConnectandSell, Basecamp, Slack
  • Self starter with the ability to work independently and with a diverse team
  • Successful B2B sales record: achieving or exceeding established quotas
  • Exceptional listening skills: clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Experience working in a dynamic hyper-growth startup environment is a plus
