Regional Sales Director

Medigate is continuing to ramp up and we're looking for a Regional Sales Director to join our team. This individual contributor role will be 100% focused on acquiring new hospitals in North America. You’ll report to the VP of Sales and work closely with a rockstar cross-functional team (Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product) to support you in building out an effective sales strategy for your territory.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a sales plan for your designated territory to achieve quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities
  • Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline large enough to your meet annual quota 
  • Accurately forecast bookings on a quarterly basis and be disciplined in logging opportunity details in Salesforce
  • Understand and navigate customer buying procedures and potential roadblocks
  • Stay updated with new products, services, trends and pricing models
  • Access to decision makers within the CIO, COO, CISO, VP of Clinical Assets 
  • Regularly engage prospective customers in the field at industry events (either virtual or in-person) 
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

Desired Experience

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in IT and/or cybersecurity; experience selling to hospitals strongly preferred 
  • Act as a product expert and regularly perform demos
  • Experience working with start-up company
  • Hunter’s mentality
  • Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding sales quotas 
  • Ability to lead a complex sales process and build close relationships with varied stakeholders (e.g. CIO/CISO down to analyst level)
  • Regional and national travel required (may exceed 50%)
  • Strong IT and/or cybersecurity technical acumen; understanding of HIPAA, NIST, ISO, and other security frameworks a huge plus
  • Previous success in an early-stage company growing a territory and exceeding sales goals a significant advantage
